terrywassall.net is now a Wordpress installation. I will be keeping blog.terrywassall.net (i.e. this blog) for the moment until I have decided if it can perform a useful function in addition to the main blog that will now be terrywassall.net. I will have to decide whether to make a static page the home page now or leave it as the blog. I’ll also need to decide on a theme in due course.

May 4th, 2009This website has a number of subdomains to install different web applications. wiki.terrywassall.net is a Mediawiki installation, blog.terrywassall.net is this Wordpress blog, and moodle.terrywassall.net is a Moodle installation.
I am thinking about making WP the CMS for this site and to provide the site blog. This would mean that the blog.terrywassall.net subdomain would become redundant.
The longer term project might be to develop this as my main site and gradually shift from terrywassall.co.uk.
Site installations update
May 20th, 2008In the last week I have installed Mediawiki and Moodle to join this Wordpress blog. I will be installing Elgg in due course when I have had a chance to see what version 1.0 looks like and how easy it is to install. If it looks a bit difficult or it is too soon I will consider Elgg Classic. The only other addition I might make is phpBB.
I previously installed the OS WCM MODx but looked a bit hard for me so deleted it for the time being.
